PopUp of a Chitlin Circuit June ’25 PopUp

Peace & Gratitude, Family!

On June 25, ’25, I had the honor to present my work with two other outstanding Poet-Activists—Curtis Crisler, Indiana’s Poet Laureate & founder of the Indiana Chitlin Circuit, & Debbie Allen, cofounder of Poets Against Racism and Hate (PARH). The reading took place at TekVenture Makers Space home of the Poetz Portal Kollektiv, which I cofounded & sit as advisor.

Debbie graciously put together an hour-long video of the 2-hour gathering. When you get a free moment, watch it & leave your comments for the Poetz. Given the times & the political pressure that’s seeking to cook us all, Poetz are more important now than they’ve been since the Beat ’50s & Black Arts Movement ’60s. Work with the Poetz as we Speak Truth to The People, thank you Mari Evans.
